Delivering Wild Caught Salmon to the Applegate & Rogue Valley
For over two decades I have been honored to participate in the world’s largest salmon run. Every summer I travel from my Applegate home to fish in the pristine waters of Bristol Bay, Alaska to harvest wild sockeye in one of the world’s most sustainable fisheries. This rhythm of returning to the same river, just as these wild salmon do, has shaped my entire adult life.
I am humbled and forever grateful by this uniquely abundant salmon run. Over the years I have strived to bring a portion of my catch back to my home here in southern Oregon, to share with my neighbors and friends. With an awareness that the rich history of salmon in our region has been imperiled by a long list of factors, my goal is to “Bring salmon home to the Siskiyous.”
